What a class looks like

One hour, four parts.

Step 1
Warm-up to the music
Forty-five seconds in and you'll forget about the day. Music up, gentle conditioning, into the room.
Step 2
Across-the-floor
Travelling steps and short combinations to get your body moving. Adapted on the spot if it's your first night.
Step 3
Choreography
A routine built across the hour. Performance, attitude, the bit you'll catch yourself practising in the kitchen on Friday.
Step 4
Cool-down
Stretch, breathe, leave lighter than you arrived.

No card needed. Drop-in and term pricing on enquiry. No joining fee, no deposit, no contracts. Pay for the classes you want to take.

Asked a lot

The adult questions.

I've literally never danced, is that okay?

Completely. Half the room on any given Thursday is in the same boat. The class is taught with first-timers in mind and the teacher will adapt on the spot.

Do I need heels?

No. Trainers are fine, especially while you're settling in. Many regulars dance the whole class in trainers. If you want to try heels later we'll guide you on the right ones.

Is it cardio dance, or actual choreography?

Actual choreography. You'll learn a routine. It's a workout because dance is a workout, but the goal is to dance, not to count calories.

Can I come once in a while?

Yes. Drop in when you can. The choreography changes regularly so you can pick up wherever you are.
