How free trial works
Tell us your child's age and a venue, we'll come back with a class. No card. No commitment.
Bring your child in comfortable clothes with trainers, and water. We'll do the rest. Parents wait in a comfy reception, not the studio.
If they loved it, we'll get them into a regular class. If it's not for them, that's fine. No fuss.

Brand new for the summer. Beginners welcome, no experience needed. Your first class is free.
What we teach at Billericay
Billericay runs the full HK curriculum, Monday to Saturday. Tell us your child’s age. We’ll point at the right class.
Tots
2 to 4 years
Saturday mornings. Movement, songs, and first-time-on-the-dance-floor energy. Designed to build coordination and confidence before school starts.
Minis
5 to 8 years
First steps in proper dance. Songs, simple moves, lots of giggling. The introduction to a class environment, no pressure to get it right.
Juniors
9 to 12 years
Proper technique starts here. Street dance, contemporary, musical theatre. Pick one, or mix and match. Showcase performances at the end of the year.
Teens
13+
Where they choose what they love. Street dance, contemporary, commercial. Pick one or mix and match. Optional audition for the Elite Team.
Elite Team
Audition only
The highest-level performance squad. Tuesday and Thursday evenings. Past Elite dancers have gone on to West End shows, cruise ships, and professional careers.
Adults
16+
Thursday evenings. Heels and commercial dance, all levels welcome. No experience needed, just turn up and move.
What it costs, plainly
Pay per month, or per class. Sibling discounts as standard. The first class is free, no card needed.
Per class
Pay-as-you-go
Try a session, no term commitment. Best for first explorations or moving up an age band mid-term.
Per month
Monthly
One class a week across a half-term or full term. Discounted vs pay-as-you-go. Sibling discount applies.
Tell us your child’s age and venue, and we’ll come back with the current rates. The first trial class is free either way.
A quick hello
Founded and run by Dionne since 2003, HK began with a love for dance and a passion for sharing the knowledge and skills I had learned with young children. Little did I know that 23 years later, this passion would grow into a purpose-built studio offering classes every evening across a variety of dance styles, along with four additional venues running weekly hip hop classes.
