About Us
Who we are
HK Dance Studios was first established in 2003. We started off as a street dance class in a small community hall in Kingswood with about 20 students. Since then we have grown to have our own official Dance Studio and premises with over 150 students being taught:

Dance is for everyone no matter your ability
Hip Hop / Streetdance
Hip hop dance is a range of street dance styles primarily performed to hip hop music. House, Old School, Locking and Waccking are some of the styles included in our classes
Contemporary
Contemporary focuses mainly on expressing emotions (happiness, sadness, anger) through soft but powerful movements
Ballet & Tap
Ballet and tap dancing are two popular dance styles that are totally different from each other: ballet is graceful and classical while tap dancing is quick-paced and entertaining
Musical Theatre
Musical theatre is an art form and type of entertainment that combines acting, dancing, and singing. we focus on the popular shows as well as teaching your children the history of the musicals
Tricks
Acro combines dance movement and gymnastics. students work on their flexibility, strength and coordination.
Cheerleading focuses on strength and synchronisation whilst learning tumbling, dance, jumps and stunts
Ariel Silk & Hoop
Silk and Hoop involve performing acrobatic movements and poses while suspended from fabric hung from the ceiling. You can usally find this skill in a circus
